He nascut a l'Alguer, ciutat mediterrània en la qual es creuen tres cultures: sarda, catalana i italiana. Gràcies a la passió de mon pare per la vela, he girat pel Mediterrani occidental des de petit. Quan he crescut una mica, he començat a estudiar història a Florència, on m'he
llicenciat l'any 2005 amb una tesi sobre la normalització lingüística
dels governs Pujol, i desprès he freqüentat el Màster en Història del
Món de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Sóc autor d'un assaig sobre el
feixisme a l'Alguer (2010), d'un história amb esperit divulgatiu sempre sobre la ciutat cataloparlant (2014) i d'alguns articles de temàtica sarda i algueresa en revistes
especialitzades, en català, italià i anglès. M'he doctorat en història al novembre de 2013 sota la direcció
d'Enric Ucelay-Da Cal, amb una tesi en la qual interpreto l'evolució històrica d'un arxipèlag invisible en els darrers tres segles. És aquell format per les illes de Sardenya i Còrsega, amagat pels múltiples nacionalismes que s'han desenvolupat en aquestes terres. Sóc membre del Grup de Recerca en Estats Nacions i Sobiranies (UPF). Treballo en el turisme, i visc a Barcelona des del 2006.
Sono nato ad Alghero, città mediterranea dove si incontrano tre culture diverse: sarda, catalana ed italiana. Grazie alla passione di mio padre per la vela, ho girato il Mediterraneo occidentale fin da piccolo. Da grande ho iniziato i miei studi in storia a Firenze, dove mi sono laureato nel 2005 con una tesi sulla politica linguistica del Governo autonomo catalano durante gli anni '80, e poi hi frequentato un master in World History all'Università Pompeu Fabra. Sono autore di un saggio sul fascismo ad Alghero (2010), di una sintesi storica sempre sul passato della cittadina catalanoparlante (2014), e di alcuni articoli di storia sarda in riviste specializzate in italiano, catalano e inglese. Ho realizzato un dottorato di ricerca (2013), sotto la direzione di Enric Ucelay-Da Cal, nel quale interpreto l'evoluzione storica di un arcipelago invisibile durante gli ultimi tre secoli. É quello formato dalla Corsica e della Sardegna nascosto dai diversi nazionalismi che si sono sviluppati in queste due terre. Sono membro del Grup de Recerca en Estats Nacions i Sobiranies (UPF). Lavoro nel campo del turismo e vivo a Barcellona dal 2006.
I was born in Alghero, Sardinia. I've studied history at the University of Florence and at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in Barcelona. I've obtained my PhD degree in November 2013, with a thesis that analyzes the history of Corsica and Sardinia during the last three centuries in a comparative perspective. In spite of the little distance that divides the two islands, both forms an invisible archipelago which has been hidden by differents nationalisms. I'm referring to the Italian and French nationalisms, but also Corsican and Sardinian and, even if they are minor, the Catalan and the Spanish. I've released a book about how the fascist Italian regime worked in the Catalan-speaking Sardinian town of Alghero (El feixisme a l'Alguer, Angle, Barcelona 2010), an history of the same city (Història de l'Alguer, Llibres de l'Índex 2014) and some articles in academic reviews on Sardinian nationalism and others aspects of the history of the Catalan minority during the Italian nation-building process. I'm a member of a research group on states, nations and soveregnities of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. I work in tourism industry and I live in Barcelona since 2006.
